Our training philosophy is one that values the voices of early childhood professionals. We believe that individuals must feel seen, heard, and valued before they are able do the same for others. Therefore, we place a major focus on group discussion and personal reflection.

A Focus on Quality: Providing Safe Indoor & Outdoor Environments (2.0 clock hours). This training provides early childhood professionals with the knowledge and skills to provide a safe learning environment that meets local licensing guidelines. Participants will learn how to evaluate their environment for hazards and safety concerns based on their local licensing guidelines.
Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) – Reducing the Risk (2.5 clock hours). This training provides early childhood professionals with knowledge and skills to understand SIDS and effectively reduce the risk for infants in the classroom, as well as in the child’s home.
Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse & Neglect (2.5 clock hours). This 2.5-hour training prepares early childhood professionals to recognize and report suspected child abuse and neglect in the early childhood setting.
Little Hands, Big Minds: Cognitive Development in the Classroom (1.5 clock hours). This training provides early childhood professionals with the knowledge and skills to create developmentally appropriate activities that will promote the cognitive growth of children in inclusive learning spaces.
Creating Environments That Promote Emotional Intelligence (1.5 clock hours). This training provides teachers with knowledge to understand the concept of emotional intelligence and its relation to social-emotional development. Participants will learn how to create physical and mental spaces to encourage emotional intelligence in the classroom.
From Chaos to Calm: Managing with Heart and Skill (2.0 clock hours). This training equips teachers with skills to respond to challenging behaviors with little classroom disruption. Participants will learn the true cause of challenging behaviors and the strategies that allow teachers to effectively prevent these behaviors in the future.
Little Hands, Big Minds: Physical Development in the Classroom (1.5 clock hours). This training provides teachers with knowledge and skills to understand how physical development occurs in young children, and provide developmentally appropriate fine motor and gross motor activities for children in inclusive learning spaces.
Moving Past the Basics: Early Literacy for Young Children (1.5 clock hours). This training helps teachers create fun, and engaging, early literacy activities for children, birth to 5. Participants will also learn how to properly create literacy-rich environments that are stimulating, but not overwhelming.
Moving Past the Basics: Language for Young Children (1.5 clock hours). This training provides teachers with the knowledge to understand how language skills develop in young children, and the strategies to provide intentional interactions and age appropriate activities that promote language development in children, 0-5.
Cultivating Innovation: Creating Engaging STEAM Activities (1.5 clock hours). This training provides early childhood professionals with knowledge and skills to create STEAM activities that are engaging and developmentally appropriate for children as young as 6 weeks.
Justice For All: Creating a True Anti-Bias Learning Space (2.0 clock hours). This training helps professionals create and maintain a true anti-bias learning environment for children, ages 0-7. Participants dive deep to evaluate their personal bias and acknowledge its presence in the classroom. Participants learn the role of bias in the classroom and receive tools to help remove bias from the physical and mental space.
Understanding Inclusion and Special Needs In Early Childhood Settings (2.0 clock hours). This training equips teachers with the knowledge and skills to advocate for young children and create inclusive learning environments. Participants learn how to notice signs of developmental delay and additional needs. Participants learn the appropriate limits for teachers when advocating, how to effectively collaborate with specialists, and how to create an inclusive learning space.
Appropriation vs. Appreciation: Celebrating Culture with Respect (1.5 clock hours). This training breakdowns the concept of appropriation and helps teachers avoid appropriation when celebrating a culture different from their own. Participants will learn how to incorporate different cultural norms into the classroom environment while respecting and truly appreciating each culture.
Trauma-informed Care: Helping Children Cope (2.0 clock hours). This training equips teachers to support young children who experience trauma. Participants will learn about the impact of trauma on young children. Participants will learn how to provide supportive physical and mental spaces for young children impacted by trauma.
A Focus on Family: Getting Parents Involved (1.5 clock hours). This training helps teachers increase parent involvement at home, and in the classroom. Participants will learn about the 3 major categories of parent involvement, and strategies that are proven to increase involvement in each category.
A Focus on Family: Using Effective Communication (1.5 hours). This training equips teachers with strategies to strengthen communication with their classroom families. Participants will enhance their active and reflective listening skills. Participants will learn strategies to create meaningful, trusting relationships with their classroom families.
Remaining Professional in the Face of Conflict (2.0 clock hours). This training equips early childhood professionals with strategies to navigate workplace conflict with peace and professionalism. Participants will learn how to use effective communication to diffuse conflicts and reach solutions. This training is suitable for all early childhood staff.
Recognizing & Empowering the Leader in You (1.5 clock hours). This training helps professionals overcome imposter syndrome and build confidence in their ability to lead. Whether leading a classroom, or leading a center, participants will use self-reflection strategies to determine the source of their doubt/fear, and tools to change their mindset and become the leader they want to be.
Dealing with Personal Stress & Burnout (1.5 clock hours). This training helps early childhood professionals overcome workplace burnout. Participants will learn how to recognize the signs of burnout in themselves and others. Participants will learn strategies to overcome burnout, increase energy, and truly enjoy their job.
